Race Details

The Section 7 Meet is our championship qualifying race for the State meet. This is the culmination of our season’s training and preparation.

Bus Schedule

• Departure: 7:30 AM from GRHS Parking Lot
• Return: Approximately 5:00 PM to GRHS

Schedule

• Arrival Time: 9:00 AM
• Race Start: 10:00 AM
• Format: Classic Sprint and Pursuit

What to Bring

• Both Classic and Skate skis (waxed at Feb 3 wax session)
• Racing suit or team uniform
• Warm-ups and extra layers
• Water, snacks, and lunch
• Team tent supplies
• Extra equipment for sprints

Race Format

• Morning: Classic Sprint qualifying and heats
• Afternoon: Pursuit races
• Qualification: Top finishers advance to State

Course Information

Giants Ridge championship courses will be in prime condition for this important meet. Athletes should draw on their experience from earlier races here.
