Main Workout
Tempo Work
- 3 x 8 min tempo run (threshold pace)
- 3 min easy jog recovery
- Focus on maintaining form when tired
Technique Drills
- 20 x diagonal stride imitation (no poles)
- 20 x double pole imitation
- 20 x skate push-off (each leg)
Cool Down (10-15 min)
- 10 min easy jog
- Full body stretching routine
Notes
- Hydrate well before, during, and after practice
- Bring appropriate clothing layers
- Focus on quality over quantity
Equipment Needed
- Water bottle
- Appropriate training clothes
- Running shoes or ski equipment as needed
